CALN TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
November 16, 2021
The Planning Commission held their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 via Zoom as a virtual meeting. A public notice was published in the Daily Local News on December 28, 2020.
The agenda was posted on the Township website and at the Township building on November 11, 2021.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman, Adam Thomas
Salute to the Flag.
Roll Call – In attendance were Adam Thomas, Mike Irwin, Jim Benko, Ken Simon and Jacob Bashioum. John Caporale and William Schew were not in attendance.
Township Staff and Consultants in attendance were Raymond Stackhouse, Director of Building and Life Safety, Board of Commissioners’ Liaison to the Planning Commission Lorraine Tindaro, and Elizabeth Nagy, Planning Commission Secretary.
Approval of October 19, 2021 meeting Minutes – Being no questions or discussion Mr. Thomas entertained a motion for approval as submitted, moved by Jacob Bashioum and seconded by Jim Benko. With no objections motion carries.
Communications – None.
Discussion items – Expiring terms of Planning Commission members. The two members whose terms are expiring, John Caporale and Ken Simon, agree to another term. No one opposed to them continuing.
Old Business – None.
New Business –Chairman Thomas made a Motion to amend the agenda to include the discussion of the December 21, 2021 meeting. Jim Benko seconded the motion. With no objections the motion is granted. Due to the possible lack of a Quorum during the Holidays the December 21, 2021 meeting will be canceled. Motion was made by Jacob Bashioum and seconded by Jim Benko. With no objections the Motion carries 5-0.
Lorraine Tinardo announced The Board of Commissioners will be having a Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 2, 2021 at 5:00pm. The children will be making the ornaments for the tree.
Subdivision and Land Development Timeclock Dates:
– With no further agenda items or Commission business, Mr. Thomas made a motion to adjourn the meeting, moved by Jim Benko and seconded by Jacob Bashioum. Poll of members; all ayes, motion passes 5– 0. The meeting adjourned at 7:23 P.M.
