CALN TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
September 21, 2021
The Planning Commission held their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 via Zoom as a virtual meeting. A public notice was published in the Daily Local News on December 28, 2020.
The agenda was posted on the Township website and at the Township building on September 20, 2021.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman, John Adam Thomas
Salute to the Flag.
Roll Call – In attendance were John Adam Thomas, Bill Schew, Jim Benko, John Caporale, Ken Simon, Mike Irwin and Jacob Bashioum. Mike Irwin and Jacob Bashioum were not in attendance.
Township Staff and Consultants in attendance were Raymond Stackhouse, Director of Building and Life Safety, Bryan Kulakowsky, ARRO Consulting - Township Engineer, Board of Commissioners’ Liaison to the Planning Commission Lorraine Tindaro, and Elizabeth Nagy, Planning Commission Secretary.
Approval of July 20, 2021 meeting Minutes – Being no questions or discussion Mr. Thomas entertained a motion for approval as submitted, moved by Bill Schew and seconded by Jim Benko. With no objections motion carries.
Approval of August 17, 2021 meeting Minutes – Being no questions or discussion Mr. Thomas entertained a motion for approval as submitted, moved Jim Benko and seconded by Bill Schew. With no objections motion carries.
Communications – None.
Discussion items – Raymond Stackhouse discussed the updates and timelines on the bridge and road closures from the damage of Hurricane Ida.
Old Business – None.
New Business – Bryan Kulakowsky discussed that All-Fill will have a sketch plan up for review at the October agenda. Raymond Stackhouse noted that it is in the Historical District and will be forwarded to them to address at their next meeting.
Subdivision and Land Development Timeclock Dates:
– With no further agenda items or Commission business, Mr. Thomas made a motion to adjourn the meeting, moved by John Caporale and seconded by Jim Benko. Poll of members; all ayes, motion passes 5 – 0. The meeting adjourned at 7:29 P.M.
