Volunteer boards and commissions serve our community by advising policy makers and providing essential support to township programs and activities. Participating is a great way for residents to provide input on the policies that shape our community.

Being on a board or commission does require a significant personal commitment, however, so applicants should consider their ability to commit their time and energy before applying. Meetings are open to the public and potential applicants are welcome to sit in to see what a position is all about before deciding whether or not to apply. Applications for current vacancies MUST be submitted by 4:30 PM on Wednesday, December 10th as they will be reviewed the following evening (Thursday, December 11th) at the Board of Commissioners meeting.
