COMMERCIAL FIRE INSPECTIONSThe Township’s Fire Marshal’s Office is comprised of a Fire Marshal, a Deputy Fire Marshal, and two Assistant Fire Marshals. The Office is responsible for administering and overseeing the commercial fire inspection program, enforcing the Township’s adopted fire code, and providing support to County and State Fire Marshals during fire investigations. In addition, the Office delivers public fire prevention initiatives and educational programs aimed at promoting safety and awareness throughout the community.
Township Fire Marshals and Fire Inspectors perform commercial fire inspections on a routine and complaint driven basis with the goal of identifying fire safety hazards and code violations. Through communication, education, and enforcement the Township's goal is to maintain a safe and healthy environment for employees and patrons of our local businesses.
