Historical Commission Updates:The Caln Township Historical Commission is working on restoring the Spackman Farm to grandeur. The Barn roof, long in disrepair and near collapse, is being replaced to preserve the building, and ideas are being considered to seek outside investors to complete the restoration of the Barn and Homestead. In the meantime, the land is still being farmed, and all proceeds from the farmer’s rent are going toward the many improvements needed to keep the properties from falling into further disrepair.
