The Department of Building and Life Safety’s goal is to promote, and maintain, a safe and desirable living, and working, environment for the citizens and visitors of Caln Township.

​We provide coordination and oversight on matters relating to zoning, building plan review and inspections, rental and property transfer inspections, property maintenance complaints, fire marshal and emergency management activities, and fire/ambulance service delivery utilizing community partnerships, prevention, and compliance programs in accordance with Township adopted codes and standards.
