This year, the Caln Township Police Department teamed up with the Caln Parks and Recreation Board to host a National Night Out and Caln Summer Series event. Many volunteers and staff worked hard to make the event a huge success. We are especially grateful to the Thorndale Fire Company for all of their help (and that impressive extrication demonstration!). And to Minquas Fire Company No. 2 for providing EMS support.
The event included Chico's Vibe in concert, fireworks, food trucks, activities, and demonstrations. Thee Coatesville High school Marching Band played the national anthem while the color guard from Veterans of Foreign Wars - Post 845 presented the colors. Big Boize BBQ Sauce, Caln Pizza and Pasta, and Maggie Moo's Ice cream dished up delicious treats for all. This event wouldn't have been possible without our sponsors: Gold: Kia of Coatesville, Academy Sports Complex, Fling's Towing Inc., Giant Food Stores (3477 Lincoln Highway), Hatt's True Value Hardware, Sudsy Sam's Car Wash, and Krapf School Bus Silver: Citadel, Cohen & Sons, Collex Collision Experts, Coatesville, Courtesy Chrysler Jeep, Del Toyota, Taylor's Automotive, and the Thorndale Inn Bronze: Wawa, C&R Glass, Midway Grill, Milanese Remodeling, Miller's Towing, T-Mobile, Pet Supplies Plus In Kind: Downingtown Bicycle Shop, Acme Markets - Thorndale, Applebee's Restaurant, Tam Arte Design Studio, and Workplace Central Office Supplies UPDATE: Hearing has been postponed to a later date. This page will be updated when it is rescheduled.
