This year, the Caln Township Police Department teamed up with the Caln Parks and Recreation Board to host a National Night Out and Caln Summer Series event. Many volunteers and staff worked hard to make the event a huge success. We are especially grateful to the Thorndale Fire Company for all of their help (and that impressive extrication demonstration!). And to Minquas Fire Company No. 2 for providing EMS support.
The event included Chico's Vibe in concert, fireworks, food trucks, activities, and demonstrations. Thee Coatesville High school Marching Band played the national anthem while the color guard from Veterans of Foreign Wars - Post 845 presented the colors. Big Boize BBQ Sauce, Caln Pizza and Pasta, and Maggie Moo's Ice cream dished up delicious treats for all.
