Art in the Park: Urban Sketching Walking Audit at Beaver Creek

Join Caln Township Parks & Recreation for a special Art in the Park session - geared for adults and older teens!

The beauty of nature is all around us, and instructor Daniel Rodriguez will walk us through how to capture it through sketch! He will be teaching us how to sketch the world around us with different art materials (some from nature itself)! Our subject for this class will be Beaver Creek.

Whether you are new to sketching or want to fine tune skills, this class is for you! This class is geared for adults and older teens (minors must be accompanied by an adult).

Caln Community Day returns on Saturday, September 12th!

Our 18th annual Caln Community Day is Saturday, September 12th in Caln Municipal Park! Join us from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM as we celebrate our Caln Township community with delicious food, fun vendors, free activities, live music, and fireworks!

Join the EAC for an Invasive Species Removal Event!

The Caln Township Environmental Advisory Council is heading up to Spackman-Davis Farm to remove invasive species from the farm, and they need your help!

Join them on Saturday, April 18th at 1:00 PM to help clear out these plants before we celebrate America's 250th birthday at the 3rd Annual Spackman-Davis Farm picnic! Removing invasive species allows for more space and nutrients in the soil for native plants to grow and thrive.

BYO work gloves and loppers (if you have them). This activity is probably best for adults or older kids.

Easter Egg Hunt 2026

Parks & Recreation's annual Easter Egg Hunt is back! Join us on Saturday, April 4th at Caln Municipal Park for some eggscellent fun! Kids of all ages are welcome to attend. Our youngest group of “hunters” will begin promptly at 1:00 PM, with the other age groups scheduled as follows:
2 and under: 1:00 PM
3-4: 1:10 PM
5-6: 1:20 PM
7-8: 1:30 PM
9 and up: 1:40 PM

Caln Community Clean Up Weekend 2026

Our Parks & Recreation Board is excited to announce that our annual Caln Community Clean Up Weekend is March 28th and 29th! This year's clean up is once again sponsored by Midway Grill 🌱

Clean up supplies and a gift certificate to Midway will be provided to all volunteers - both groups and individuals are encouraged to sign up!

In honor of America's 250th birthday this year, let's celebrate and make this year's clean up the best one yet!

Carver Court Exhibit Opening

On February 24, we celebrated Black History Month with the unveiling of Old Caln Historical Society's exhibit honoring Carver Court! It was a wonderful evening full of community and connection - thank you to everyone who joined us for this special event.

The exhibit will be on display through May in the Township building lobby. Stop by during business hours or before any public meeting to learn about why Carver Court was included on the National Register of Historic Places.
