​The Chester County Planning Commission will conduct a public meeting about the Chester Valley Trail West study from on March 1 at The Parkesburg Point Youth Center, 700 Main Street, Parkesburg, Pa., 19365. The meeting will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. with a presentation at 7 p.m. The results of the public survey will be revealed during the presentation, and a brief overview of the project and update on the process will also be included. Both before and after the presentation there will be opportunities to provide specific feedback on potential alignment alternatives that have been developed with the help of our steering committee and public survey results. The goal of the project is to connect the Chester Valley Trail with the future 29-mile multi-use Enola Low Grade Trail located just outside of Atglen in Lancaster County. The Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl Parade will be held on Thursday, February 8 from 11:00 AM to approximately 2:30 PM.  In order to accommodate a large number of passengers heading to the parade, SEPTA will make significant service adjustments, including limited stops on Regional Rail for service to-and-from Center City.

The parade will begin at the Sports Complex in South Philadelphia, continue north on Broad Street to City Hall, and then onto the Benjamin Franklin Parkway toward the Philadelphia Museum of Art. To better control crowds with available personnel, and to allow for more efficient service, SEPTA will consolidate stops on rail lines. Regional Rail will operate inbound-only in the morning and outbound-only after the parade.
