Caln Township Rescinds Declaration of Emergency
Caln Township, Pennsylvania — Effective Monday January 26, 2026, at 1:00pm Caln Township’s Board of Commissioners President, Joshua Young, has formally rescinded the Declaration of Disaster Emergency and Snow and Ice Emergency issued on January 23, 2026. Conditions that necessitated the emergency declaration have stabilized, and emergency operations are no longer required.
All emergency measures enacted under the declaration are hereby terminated as of this date. Normal operations and governing authorities will resume accordingly.
Caln Township’s Board of Commissioners President, Joshua Young thanks residents, partners, and responders for their cooperation and support throughout the emergency period.

On behalf of the Board of Commissioners of Caln Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania please be advised that Caln Township has declared a Snow Emergency in effect from 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2026 until rescinded.
Parking is prohibited on all designated Snow Emergency Routes pursuant to section 149-40 of the Township Code. Vehicles in violation may be towed and operators penalized pursuant to sections 149-42 and 149-43 of the Township Code.
