No Solicitation Form

Pursuant to Chapter 111 Peddling and Soliciting in Caln Township: Caln Township cannot legally restrict solicitation on private property unless the resident of that property: (1) posts a “No Solicitation” sign on the property: (2) completes a “No Solicitation Registry Request Form” and files it with the Caln Township Police Department or (3) otherwise advises a person engaged in the act of solicitation to leave the property and solicitor refuses to leave the premises. If you would like to have your property added to the “No Solicitation Registry” that is maintained by the Caln Township Police Department and provided by the Police Department to each individual or organization that secures a solicitation permit from the Caln Township Police Department, please complete this form and submit to the Caln Township Police Department:

    By submitting this form, I hereby declare that I reside at the address indicated above (my property) and that I refuse permission of any individual or organizational that has obtained a solicitation permit from the Caln Township Police Department to enter my property. Accordingly, I hereby request that the Caln Township Police Department inform the permit holders by including my property (address only) on the No Solicitation Registry.
    I understand that certain religious, veteran, political, and non-profit groups do have the legal right to solicit me.
    I understand that it is possible that solicitors will ignore the No Solicitation Registry and come onto my property. If they do so, I or another member of my household will immediately call the Caln Township Police Department to report the incident and provide a description of the solicitor.
