UPDATED 2/2026: PennDOT has announced that a weekday road closure will continue on Olive Street due to utility construction with PA American Water. This will start Monday, March 2nd, to Thursday, April 30th. The closure will take place from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM during this time.
The detours that will be in effect are via Caln Road, West Chester Road, and 13th Avenue (same as previous closure). Between S. Caln Rd and 13th Avenue, Olive Street will be closed for a water line installation for Pennsylvania American Water. A detour will be in effect starting Monday, November 24th through February 2026 for this construction. The detour hours are from 8 AM - 4 PM. Heavy traffic is anticipated, but school buses are able to access the street as needed during this time.
