When you become a member of Minquas EMS, you enjoy peace of mind knowing that if you ever need ambulance services, Minquas EMS will bill your insurance directly and consider whatever they pay as payment in full. You won’t owe anything beyond what your insurance covers. A purchased membership acts as a secondary or tertiary insurance coverage for the year.
However, if you choose not to join, you’ll be responsible for the remaining balance after your insurance payment. Depending on the level of care required, that balance could be as much as $2,000.
