NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Board of Commissioners of Caln Township will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 7:30 p.m., as part of the regularly scheduled public meeting at the Caln Township Municipal Building located at 253 Municipal Drive, Thorndale, Pennsylvania 19372 to consider and possibly adopt an ordinance with the following title and summary.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CALN TOWNSHIP CODE OF ORDINANCES TO ADD A NEW CHAPTER 17 TITLED “ENVIRONMENTAL ADVISORY COUNCIL” TO ESTABLISH AN ENVIRONMENTAL ADVISORY COUNCIL TO SERVE AS AN ADVISORY BODY TO THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS IN ORDER TO GATHER INFORMATION AND PROVIDE RECOMMENDATIONS REGARDING VARIOUS ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES, INCLUDING THE USE OF OPEN SPACE, WAYS TO PROMOTE CONSERVATION OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENCOURAGING ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAMS, ALL WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE TOWNSHIP.
