 On February 24, we celebrated Black History Month with the unveiling of Old Caln Historical Society's exhibit honoring Carver Court! It was a wonderful evening full of community and connection - thank you to everyone who joined us for this special event.
The exhibit will be on display through May in the Township building lobby. Stop by during business hours or before any public meeting to learn about why Carver Court was included on the National Register of Historic Places. You can also see more online at https://www.oldcalnhistoricalsociety.org/carver-court.html UPDATED 2/2026: PennDOT has announced that a weekday road closure will continue on Olive Street due to utility construction with PA American Water. This will start Monday, March 2nd, to Thursday, April 30th. The closure will take place from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM during this time. The detours that will be in effect are via Caln Road, West Chester Road, and 13th Avenue (same as previous closure). Caln Rd and 13th Avenue, Olive Street will be closed for a water line installation for Pennsylvania American Water. A detour will be in effect starting Monday, November 24th through February 2026 for this construction. The detour hours are from 8 AM - 4 PM.
